About Us - A Brief History
Ascension Granite & Marble was formed under the Gonzales family business, Gonzales Interiors. Gonzales Interiors was opened in 1972 by Charles Gonzales as a full-service interior company. Charles Gonzales retired in 1998, and his two sons, Chris and Evan Gonzales, took ownership of the company.
From Experience to Excellence
In 2002, Evan Gonzales recognized the growing demand for granite and solid surface countertops. With 22 years of experience through Gonzales Interiors, he expanded the business into the stone industry by beginning to fabricate slab granite. In 2003, Ascension Granite & Marble was established, evolving from Gonzales Interiors with the goal of providing the highest quality stone fabrication and installation in the region.
